Private Groups on Snowshoes
Snowshoeing is a fantastic winter activity to do together as a family, a group, or even for a special event. It caters to all levels and age groups. The terrain and difficulty level is adjusted according to each groups wishes.
Snowshowing tours include a guide, snowshoes, poles, and simple refreshments. Prices apply for the area around Rjukan, such as Gausta, Gaustatoppen*, Møsvatn(Hardangervidda), Solstien(Krossobanen) and Austbygde.
Half day (up to 3,5 hours)
1-5 persons………..2500 kr
6-10 persons………4500 kr
11-15 persons……..6500 kr
Full day (up to 7,5 hours) – Dry food lunch* included in the price.
1-5 persons………..5000 kr
6-10 persons………7900 kr
11-15 persons……10900 kr
For groups over 15 persons, please contact us for pricing and availability.
*Trips to Gaustatoppen and Solstien require a return ticket with Gaustabanen and Krossobanen respectively. Ticket price is an additional cost item.
**It is possible to arrange a dine in lunch with for example Gaustabanen, inside the mountain. Price will be adjusted in accordance with their offerings.
Private Groups on Nordic Backcountry Skis
Do you want to learn to use Nordic Backcountryu Skis or “fjellski” as they are known here, or maybe just do a little trip together with an experienced person? We offer a learning and trip opportunity on fjellskis in a small group setting. The very beginnger friendly flats and gentle slopes around Møsvatn and Kvitåvatn are the main areas we use.
Included is a guide, and simple refreshments.
The Nordic Backcountry Skis (fjellski) participants must provide themselves, including skis, shoes, skins, and poles. You can rent equipment from Kvitåvatn Fjellstue*.
